These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Abby Kaye Make-Up Artist for both regular appointments and bridal bookings. By booking an appointment or bridal service, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. No-Show and Late Cancellation Policy (Studio Appointments)
• When booking a studio appointment (such as brows, LVL lash lifts, or makeup services), you will be required to provide your card details at the time of booking. No payment will be taken upfront.
• Cancellations or changes to appointments must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment or failure to attend the appointment will result in a fee equal to 50% of the booking.
• By agreeing to these terms, you authorise Abby Kaye Make-Up Artist to charge your card in the event of a late cancellation or no-show.
2. Bridal Bookings
By entering into a service agreement with Abby Kaye Make-Up Artist for bridal makeup services, you agree to the following terms:
2.1 Quotes
• Quotes are valid for 14 days from the date issued and cover only the services listed. Any alterations or additions to the original service may result in a new quote.
2.2 Deposits / Reservation Fees
• To secure your wedding date, a non-refundable deposit of £100.00 is required. This is payable upon booking or no later than 14 days from the date of the invoice.
• The deposit will be deducted from the final total cost of the bridal services.
• Failure to provide the deposit within the specified timeframe will result in the cancellation of your booking.
• The deposit is non-refundable, but may be transferable to a new date at Abby Kaye’s discretion, depending on the circumstances of the cancellation.
2.3 Payment Terms
• Full payment is required 14 days prior to the wedding date, as outlined in your booking confirmation.
• Payments must be made via bank transfer or SumUp Link unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
• The bride is responsible for all payments regarding the services covered by the contract.
2.4 Mispriced Services
• In the event of a genuine mistake resulting in underpricing, Abby Kaye Make-Up Artist is not obligated to provide the service at the incorrect price. You will be notified of the correct price and can choose whether to proceed with the service at the corrected price.
2.5 Cancellations
• Cancellations must be made in writing via email.
• If you cancel 30 days or more before your wedding, you will forfeit your deposit, but no further payments will be due.
• Cancellations made within 30 days of your wedding will result in a 50% charge of the remaining balance.
• Cancellations made within 14 days of the wedding will result in 100% of the remaining balance being charged.
• In the rare event that Abby Kaye Make-Up Artist is unable to perform the services due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, family emergencies), you will be offered a full refund of your deposit. Every effort will be made to find a replacement makeup artist, but no additional compensation will be provided.
2.6 Travel and Accommodation
• Travel fees will be outlined in your booking confirmation. If accommodation or parking is required for early bookings or extended services, these expenses will be covered by the client.
3. Additional Terms (Applicable to All Services)
3.1 Allergies and Medical Conditions
• You are responsible for notifying Abby Kaye Make-Up Artist of any known allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions prior to your appointment. Abby Kaye Makeup Artist will not be held liable for any adverse reactions resulting from failure to disclose this information.
3.2 Confidentiality
• Any information exchanged between you and Abby Kaye Makeup Artist will be treated as confidential and will not be shared with third parties without written consent. Confidentiality obligations remain in effect after the completion of services.
3.3 Photography and Media Usage
• During bridal trials, photos and videos may be taken to ensure accuracy on the wedding day. By entering into this agreement, you grant Abby Kaye Make-Up Artist permission to use these images for marketing and promotional purposes. You may opt-out by providing written notice.
3.4 Governing Law
• These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
3.5 Entire Agreement
• These terms and conditions, along with any booking confirmations and contracts, constitute the entire agreement between the client and Abby Kaye Make-Up Artist. No verbal agreements or modifications are valid unless confirmed in writing by both parties.
3.6 Health and Safety
• All tools and makeup products used by Abby Kaye Make-Up Artist are sanitised before and after each use. Enhanced sanitation protocols will be followed to ensure client safety, particularly in response to health concerns such as COVID-19.
• The Makeup Artist reserves the right to refuse service to any client exhibiting contagious conditions, including but not limited to, cold sores, conjunctivitis, or flu-like symptoms.
4. Third-Party Platforms and Data Handling
• Booking System (Timely): Your personal information (name, contact details, and booking preferences) will be collected and stored securely via Timely, our third-party booking system. This enables us to manage appointments, send booking confirmations, and send reminders for upcoming services.
• Data Use: The information collected in Timely is used solely for appointment management and communication related to your bookings with Abby Kaye Make-Up Artist.
• Data Sharing: We do not share your personal data with any third parties except for the purpose of facilitating bookings or where required by law. Timely complies with all relevant data protection laws, including GDPR.
• Email Marketing: We may use third-party email marketing platforms to communicate promotions, updates, and relevant information. By signing up for our services, you agree to be contacted via email with such updates. You may unsubscribe at any time.
• Your Rights: You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information at any time. For more details on how third-party platforms handle your data, please refer to their individual privacy policies.
